On Sunday August 30 the chamber tree at Bayport Blue Point's Chamber Park was lit in purple for International Overdose Awareness Day and National Recovery month . Pastor David Czeisel opened the ceremony with a prayer. Councilman Neil Foley, Legislator Rob Calarco, Councilwoman MaryKate Mullins and Legislator Anthony Piccirillo attended in support of this cause.
